A NEW Quay man has been banned from driving for three months and fined for having no insurance.
Graham Harold Bell, previously of Towyn Hall, Llandysul Road, New Quay pleaded not guilty to driving a Mercedes at Cross Inn, New Quay, on July 24 last year without insurance.
However, he was found guilty by magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre. Bell also pleaded guilty to having no valid test certificate for the vehicle. A further charge of having no valid licence was dismissed.
The 68-year-old was banned from driving for three months due to repeat offending and his driving record endorsed. He was also fined £180 and ordered to pay £300 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
