AWARD-winning Newcastle Emlyn artist Helen Elliott’s new spring collection exhibition at the Guildhall Gallery in Cardigan is a triple celebration.
It not only showcases for the first time her new expressionist work but also features Helen’s well known ‘naive’ work, and will include her popular local landscapes in acrylic.
Following on from a successful show at the Museum of Modern Art in Machynlleth there will also be her illustrations from the children’s book Paradise Found by John Milton on display.
“It’s really exciting that my new colourful expressionist paintings are now at a level where they can be exhibited,” said Helen.
“They have been a work in progress for the last two years and I am thrilled to be showcasing them first at the Guildhall Gallery in Cardigan.”
Helen will be at the Guildhall Gallery daily from Monday, April 8-Saturday, April 20 (10am-4pm) and is happy to discuss her work and answer questions.
