FORMER Ceredigion MP Mark Williams has been reselected as the Welsh Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for the constituency.
He won the seat in 2005 and held on to it for 12 years before losing to Ben Lake of Plaid Cymru in the 2017 General Election.
He has remained an active local campaigner since, leading the protests against the closure of the Bodlondeb Care Home in Aberystwyth.
He said: "I am excited to have been selected as the Welsh Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Ceredigion.
"I am hugely passionate about the county I call home and continuing to ensure the concerns of our farmers, business people, vulnerable and isolated individuals and communities are heard is more important than ever."
