A CILGERRAN woman who assaulted a man has been issued with a restraining order, fined and ordered to pay compensation.
Beth Marie McCarthy, of Castle Square, Cilgerran, assaulted the man at Glynarthen, Llandysul, on January 27.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty when she appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre, where magistrates imposed a six-month restraining order on her from contacting the victim.
McCarthy was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £150 compensation, along with £86 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
