A CARDIGAN man found guilty of assaulting a woman must pay more than £1,200 in fines and costs.
Gerald Robert Kenneth Knight, of Queen’s Terrace, Cardigan, had denied the assault on the woman at St Dogmaels on May 5.
But magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre found the 31-year-old guilty and issued a six-month restraining order against him from contacting the woman.
Knight was also fined £550, along with costs of £620 and a £55 victim surcharge.
