A MAN has appeared in court to face a charge of assaulting a police officer during an alleged incident which sparked a manhunt in the Cardigan area.
Wayne Dobson, of East Sussex, appeared from custody at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday, February 12.
It is alleged that Dobson, 29, assaulted a police officer, causing actual bodily harm, at Synod Inn on February 9, and caused criminal damage.
He is also facing two charges of taking a vehicle without consent and one of aggravated vehicle taking involving a tractor.
No pleas were entered to any of the offences.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction, and Dobson was remanded into custody until his next appearance at Swansea crown court on March 18.
