A CARDIGAN business has just moved premises - but it should be something it is very much used to dealing with.

John Francis estate agents has moved across the road from Corner House to a new office directly opposite on High Street and while the new building may be only yards away from its old base, it’s a world apart in terms of space.

“We have been trading at our old office since 1974 but we have simply outgrown it and need more space to expand and to offer more services,” said branch manager Daniel Dix.

“We started off here with just two members of staff but now we have five and the extra space has allowed us to grow our sales team, which is now the largest and most experienced in Cardigan.”

Cardigan has been named branch of the year seven times in the past 10 years within the John Francis network and the new office sees it maintain a prominent high street presence.

“It gives us a much larger window display, promoting our properties in a modern and eye-catching way,” said Daniel.

“We will now be able to offer our customers in-house mortgage advice via a dedicated mortgage advisor and we will soon be opening a lettings department within the office to cover North Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and West Carmarthenshire.

“We have Welsh-speaking local staff and at a time some agents are making cutbacks, we are investing to provide our customers with the very best one-stop experience needed to buy, sell or rent.”
