A NEW Dulux Decorator Centre is officially launching in Cardigan - complete with a visit from the famous Dulux dog and free breakfast on launch day.

The new store on the Pentood Industrial Estate will create four jobs.

The grand opening will take place on Thursday, February 14 and all customers who visit the store will receive a 20 per cent discount for one day only and collect double Nectar points on all purchases, as well as being offered a free bacon roll.

The first 30 customers through the door will also receive a complimentary goody bag including a t-shirt, travel mug, beanie, paintbrush and more.

To celebrate the launch, the iconic Dulux dog will be in Cardigan, giving customers the chance to snap a selfie with the famous four-legged face of Dulux.

In addition, to support the local community, Dulux Decorator Centre Cardigan has partnered with the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre.

The store will be donating £250 worth of products to refresh the visitor centre, as well as sponsoring its charity beach clean, helping to protect the local beach and contribute towards marine conservation - with store staff lending a hand at upcoming events throughout the year.

As well as expert advice and products from all the leading Dulux brands, services at the store include free delivery and colour matching, and to help painters and decorators ‘work greener’, paint can recycling will be available, along with a range of sustainable products such as the latest water-based paints.

Noel Prince, store manager at Dulux Decorator Centre Cardigan, said: “We’re excited for the grand opening of our new store in Cardigan and have the opportunity to meet the local community at our official launch event.

“Our in-store offering has been tailored to make life easier for everyone, from professional painters and decorators to local DIYers, and the team is looking forward to giving customers expert advice on decorating projects of any size.

“We’re especially pleased to be working with Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre. They are a brilliant organisation that works tirelessly to protect the fantastic wildlife in Cardigan Bay, so we’re proud to be able to help them keep the beaches clean for wildlife and the local community to enjoy.”
