YSGOL y Preseli at Crymych closed at noon today (Thursday, January 31) because of the forecast for snow and icy road conditions
School transport was arranged.
School transport for Y Frenni, Eglwyswrw, Cilgerran, Bro Ingli and St Dogmaels has been mobilised for noon (although it is the decision of each individual school whether to close).
Transport for schools in the rest of Pembrokeshire will be mobilised from 1.30 pm but a decision to close will remain with individual schools.

In Ceredigion, schools at Bro Teifi (Llandysul), Cenarth, Trewen and T Llew Jones (Brynhoffnant) were all closed, while in north Carmarthenshire, Llanybydder and Llanllwni at Pencader both closed at 1.30pm.
