POLICE are investigating after a pet owner was ‘cold-called’ by youths offering to walk their dogs.
Posting on Twitter, Milford Haven police wrote: “We've had a report of a suspicious incident which occurred yesterday [January 20] in the Westhill Avenue area where unknown youths have cold-called at an address asking to walk the occupant's dogs.
“Please report any similar incidents to us.”
UPDATE: Police have since added the incident was isolated, and involved two girls, aged around 13, and may not be suspicious.
Further info: Two females attended an address aged approx. 13. This appears to be an isolated incident and there may be an innocent explanation. We would however like to speak to others if they have experienced similar. Call NPT on 101 @meiamisme @WTelegraph ^561
