ARE you fascinated by guide dogs? Would you like to support a charity that changes the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted?
Guide Dogs Cymru is holding a series of tea party events for supporters during 2019, starting in Cardigan on Saturday, January 26.
It’s a chance to find out how the charity makes a real difference to people like Louise Jenkins of Llandysul, owner of guide dog Trinity. She said: “When I lost my sight 15 years ago, my world turned upside down. Suddenly I couldn’t do anything on my own and I felt helpless. Getting a guide dog changed my life.”
You’ll also meet Rip and Korky, two beautiful German shepherds who didn’t quite make the grade as guide dogs but still have an important role with the charity in Ceredigion.
The Cardigan event takes place in the Gogerddan Arms, Tanygroes, at 11am-12.30pm. For details, ring Jacquie Hughes-Jones on 07919 228639 or email Jacquie.hughesjones@guidedogs.org.uk
