POLICE have carried out another drugs raid in the Cardigan area – this time at Newcastle Emlyn.
Officers executed another positive search warrant yesterday morning (January 18) in Derwern Gardens and a quantity of herbal cannabis was seized for destruction.
A man was interviewed under caution.
The raid is a latest in a series of drug busts in the Tivyside area.
Police swooped on an alleged cannabis farm at Crymych, seizing drugs with an estimated street value of £40,000. There have also been raids at Parcllyn, Aberporth and Llechryd in recent weeks as the police look to crack down on drug dealers.
Anyone with information about the use, production or supply of drugs in local communities is asked to contact police on 101.
