A NEWCASTLE Emlyn man has been fined for growing and possessing cannabis.
Phillip James Clarke, of Derwen Gardens, Adpar, Newcastle Emlyn, pleaded guilty to producing 19 cannabis plants and also to possessing 53.2 grammes of cannabis on May 18 last year.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre fined 62-year-old Clarke a total of £200 for the two offences, along with £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. The plants and other paraphernalia were ordered to be seized and destroyed.
