BOTH Cardigan lifeboats launched last night (Saturday, December 29) to a yacht in trouble.
The yacht, with two people on board, had suffered engine problems approximately two-and-a-half miles miles north, north west of Caemaes Head.
The crew were paged at 8.40pm, and eventually located the vessel to the north of Caemaes Head at 9.10pm.
The yacht was taken in tow and anchored on a deep water mooring at Cei Bach to enable repairs to be carried out.
It is believed to have been on passage from North Wales to Swansea.
