A Cardigan man who failed to comply with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a third time has been jailed today.
Gareth Flynn, aged 40, of Castle Street, admitted failing to notify the police of a change of address within three days of moving.
Flynn, now listed as living in Laws Street, Pembroke Dock, was jailed for six months.
Flynn was made the subject of the order after being convicted of a sex offence.
Flynn, who represented himself during today's hearing at Swansea crown court, told Judge Geraint Walters that he needed help with mental health issues.
Judge Walters told him he hoped he would receive such help while in prison.
But he warned him that if he continued to breach the SHPO then the prison sentences would get longer and longer.
Judge Walters also told Flynn that although he would be released after serving half the sentence he would be on licence and liable to recall for a full 12 months after his release date.
