A NEWCASTLE Emlyn man is to stand trial accused of assaulting a woman.
Sahadad Alam, of Maes Marlog, Newcastle Emlyn, pleaded not guilty to assaulting the woman in town on October 22 when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
The 44-year-old was remanded on conditional bail to appear again before the court on January 10 for trial.
