A DRUG-driver has been banned from the roads for 12 months and must pay £400 in fines and costs.
Ethan Davies, of Tavernscawen, Pentregat, Llandysul, was stopped while driving a Skoda Fabia on the A487 at Pentregat on April 19. He had 3.6 micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood. The legal limit is two micrograms.
The 20-year-old originally denied the charge but changed his plea to guilty when he reappeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre. Davies also admitted further charges of driving without insurance and having no MOT test certificate.
As well as a 12-month driving ban, Davies was fined £120, along with £250 in prosecution costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
