Remembrance Sunday services marking the centenary of the end of the First World War have been held across the country.
At Pencader, the village came to a standstill at the memorial where prayers were said and wreaths of poppies laid to honour the fallen.
The same scene was played out in towns and villages across the region.
Pictures from around the Tivyside area will be posted online as we receive them and appear in this week's edition.
We will remember them.
