SET in the modern day, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s fresh and vibrant production of The Merry Wives of Windsor will be broadcast live from Stratford-upon-Avon on Theatre Mwldan’s big screen at Cardigan on Wednesday, September 12.
Down on his luck in the suburbs, John Falstaff plans to hustle his way to a comfortable retirement by seducing the wives of two wealthy men.
Unknown to him, it’s the women of Windsor who really pull the strings, orchestrating Falstaff’s comeuppance amid a theatrical smorgasbord of petty rivalries, jealousies and over-inflated egos.
For a fat Englishman, a Welshman and a Frenchman, the only way is Windsor…
Tickets for RSC: The Merry Wives of Windsor on Wednesday 12 September at 7.00pm are £12.50 (£11.50) and are available now from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at www.mwldan.co.uk or via the Mwldan app.
