NEW Quay’s all-weather lifeboat was launched last night (Thursday, August 9) to a fishing boat in trouble off the Ceredigion coast.
The fishing boat had suffered engine failure approximately four miles north-west of Ynys Lochtyn.
The lifeboat launched at 9.30pm and the stricken vessel, with two people on board, was towed back to New Quay harbour and the lifeboat crew were stood down at 12.30am.
