EIGHT men have appeared in court to admit their part in an incident in Cardigan last year.
They all appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre to plead guilty to a charge of using or threatening unlawful violence in the town on the night of November 19.
The eight men are: Rhys Washington Brown, aged 19, of Blaen Treweryll, Blaenffos; Macally Daniel Evans, aged 22, of High Street, Cardigan; Luke Tristan Daniel Griffiths, aged 23, of Golywg y Castell, Cardigan; Rhys Michael Jones, aged 20, of Felin Ban, Cardigan; Joshua Kevin Mellor, aged 18, of Bro Teifi, Cardigan; Iwan Sion Phillips, aged 20, Lleine Farm, Ferwig; Dafydd Wyn Rotie, aged 19 of Maes yr Haf, Cardigan and Steffan Rhys Williams, aged 26, of Mill Street, St Dogmaels.
All the men were remanded on unconditional bail for pre-sentence reports to be prepared. They will reappear before the court on August 6.
