EARLY morning speed checks were carried out this morning (Friday July 6) by Ceredigion Roads Policing Unit on the A475 at Penrhiwllan following concerns raised by local residents.
Several drivers have been reported and a warning issued to a young motorist due to the manner of driving and the condition of the vehicle.
The previous day a van was stopped and was found to have had no tax for almost a year, while the windscreen was cracked and compromised. The vehicle was seized and a court date now awaits the driver, along with towage and recovery fees.
