A NEWCASTLE Emlyn accused of stalking a woman has been remanded in custody after allegedly entering his victim’s home while she and her family were asleep.
Rhydian Lyn Rhys Jamieson, of Cwmcou, Newcastle Emlyn, appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre where he denied a charge of harassing the woman on June 26 by entering her home.
He also denied a charge of stalking and causing serious alarm or distress to his alleged victim between January 1, 2016 and June 26 of this year. This included turning up at her home uninvited and refusing to leave and repeatedly contacting her on social media.
The 21-year-old admitted further charges of driving without insurance and driving without a licence on June 26.
Magistrates heard a full application for bail but remanded Jamieson in custody to reappear before the court on July 4.
