A CARDIGAN man who admitted importing a prohibited weapon has appeared in court.
John James William Bell, of Ferwig, Cardigan, pleaded guilty to importing a pepper spray between May 1 and May 31 last year, contrary to Customs and Excise legislation.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre fined 34-year-old Bell £80, along with £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. They also ordered the pepper spray to be forfeited and destroyed.
