A CARDIGAN man caught in possession of drugs has been handed a conditional discharge.
John Charles Elliot, of Rhydyfelin, pleaded guilty to possessing 0.8 grammes of cannabis and cannabis resin in the town on October 30.
The 34-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. The drugs were seized and destroyed.
