DYFED-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle collision on the A478, between Blaenffos and Cardigan which occurred at around 11.40am yesterday (Tuesday, December 19).

A silver Vauxhall Meriva and a white transit van are thought to have collided head-on at Rhoshill.

Emergency services, including police, the Wales Ambulance Service, and firefighters from Crymych and Cardigan were all called to the scene.

Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance and another by air ambulance. A woman remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The road was closed for several hours for accident investigation work until finally reopening shortly after 5.30pm.
