Acclaimed Cardigan poet Ceri Wyn Jones has won the chair at this year's Eisteddfod in Llanelli - his second chair following his success at Meirionydd in 1997.
Ceri Wyn, who also won the Crown five years ago, won the chair with his poem 'Lloches' (Refuge).
Judge Llion Jones said that the poem raised difficult questions about refuge and praised the poet's energy, talent and bright tone.
Ceri Wyn, a former pupil of Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi, lives in Cardigan with his wife Catrin and three young sons.
