AN exhibition marking a ceramicist’s journey with clay over the past ten years opens at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery next week,

Anna Warchus has a studio practice in Tenby, where she creates ceramic sculptures that incorporate themes and motifs associated with life by the sea.

Anna’s work has previously featured in auctions held by the Friends of the Tenby Museum, but this will be her first exhibition there.

She studied ceramics at Wolverhampton Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art; worked in potteries in London and Oxford and taught art and design in secondary schools.

She uses a combination of wheel-throwing, slip casting and slab rolling to make her forms.

The exhibition, Transitions, opens with a private viewing on Friday May 24 and continues until June 30,
