MATTHEW Bourne’s Swan Lake is to be screened at Cardigan’s Theatr Mwldan on both Tuesday, May 21 (7pm) and Saturday, June 8 (2pm), bringing a fresh look for the 21st century.

This thrilling, audacious and witty production is perhaps still best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble, which shattered convention, turned tradition upside down and took the dance world by storm.

Filmed live at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London, this spellbinding re-imagining of the classic New Adventures production stars Will Bozier as The Swan/The Stranger, Liam Mower as The Prince and Nicole Kabera as The Queen.

“As bold and beautiful as ever,” says the Daily Telegraph in its five-star review.

Tickets for Swan Lake at Mwldan are £12.50 (£10) and are available now from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at mwldan.co.uk or via the Mwldan app.
