THEATR Mwldan Film Society presents the critically-acclaimed American indie film Blindspotting (15) which will be shown in Cardigan on Sunday, February 24 (6.05pm).

Collin is doing his best to make it through his final three days of probation, but when he witnesses a police officer shooting a suspect in the back during a chase it seems that events are conspiring against him, and his volatile best friend is not helping the situation.

Blending buddy comedy with seething social commentary, this film by Carlos Lopez Estrada bursts with energy, style and humour.

“This bold US indie about urban life and police violence owes equal amounts to performance poetry and knife-edge thrillers. There is nothing else quite like it,” says The Guardian.

“As timely as it is overall impactful, Blindspotting blends buddy comedy with seething social commentary, and rises on the strength of Daveed Diggs' powerful performance,” says Rotten Tomatoes.
