IF there’s one event you shouldn’t miss this year, it is the appearance of the bubbling, dynamic, joyous Jamie Smith’s Mabon and they’re performing live at Theatr Mwldan on Friday, November 23 (7.30pm).

With nearly 20 years of performing behind them, with shows all across the world, at some of the planet’s finest festivals and venues, this Celtic/World music ‘festival in a band’ is primed to make you forget the dreary and despondent times.

The group of five consummate musicians has been hailed as one of the UK’s most accomplished, and over recent years has become ‘famed for brilliant live shows’ (Guardian), ‘unmatched by their peers’ (Songlines) and have ‘a fearsome reputation as a live band… stratospheric’ (Financial Times).

Along with a memorable musical treat and feel good fun, you are invited to share in the making of Mabon’s new album, which will feature a career-spanning ‘greatest hits’ roll call of tracks selected from their back catalogue, and is being recorded live at concerts this spring ready for release in the autumn.

Come and be part of something special, somewhere special. Stand by for infectious, life-affirming music by the spadeful.

Tickets for Jamie Smith’s Mabon on November 23 are £14 and are available to book from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online or via the Mwldan App.
