TO celebrate the 50th cafe at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Aberystwyth Science Café presents Science Question Time, with a panel of expert guests from across the range of sciences on December 9.
The panel will be chaired by Dr T Barsby, Director of the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, Cambridge, and includes computer scientist Dr H Dee, earth scientist Dr C Fearnley, aquatic biologist Dr P Moore, physicist Dr E Pryse and psychologist Dr R Seabrook. Expect a lively night, with debates on the major current science-related issues, judiciously lubricated by refreshments.
Questions for the panel can be submitted through the ASC Facebook Group or Twitter feed, or email asc50@sidthomas.net.
Aberystwyth Science Cafe began in 2005 and is an opportunity for people from all backgrounds to meet and chat in an informal environment about the latest ideas in science. All events are free and are held in the Theatre Bar of Aberystwyth Arts Centre, starting at 7.30 pm.
Aberystwyth Science Cafe is organised by an informal group, some of which have affiliations with Aberystwyth University.
