A lifestyle opportunity with great income potential, Gorslwyd Farm is an established business comprising a beautiful, detached 5 bed farmhouse plus an attached 1 bedroom studio offering B&B accommodation along with 6 holiday cottages sleeping 36 and with the potential for another one or two cottages in addition. The whole is set in approx. 4 acres of gardens and land. It is close to the beautiful Cardigan Bay, with the coastal resort of Aberporth being just over a mile away. Set off the main road, Gorslwyd Farm is in a quiet rural location but within easy reach of lots of great places for walking, riding and water sports.

The main residence features 4 bedrooms, three bedrooms having en suite facilities. The house has plenty of character with beamed ceilings and a large Inglenook fireplace in the living room. At the moment, the owners offer farmhouse B&B in addition to the holiday / leisure / wellness accommodation.

The business side is largely focused on environmentally friendly family self-catering holidays and a range of retreats, themed around various events and therapies. Gorslwyd Farm has a Green Tourism Gold award and has been awarded 4* rating by the Welsh Tourist Board. The property was originally set up for holidays back in the 1980s and since then has always been aimed at holidays for peace and tranquility, offering a chance to relax and unwind and rest or to rebalance. It is with this in mind that the owners have invested heavily in greener technologies and also provided those staying with a wealth of quiet corners in which to sit back and contemplate.

This is an ideal setting for those wanting to offer something more than just run of the mill holiday accommodation.

Poppy Cottage (previously known as Cellandine Cottage) is a detached 3 bedroom cottage sleeping 6 in one double and two twin rooms. This is the largest and newest addition sleeping 12 people comfortably. All on one level, this cottage is also wheelchair friendly. There is a full wet room as well as a family bathroom. There is a conservatory to the reaer which leads to a private decked area providing views over towards the Preseli Hills and the alpaca paddock. The beautiful Cardigan Bay coastline is only a couple of miles away whilst the open moorland of the Preseli Hills is within easy reach by car. In fact, it is centrally located for people who want to walk, ride, cycle, surf, sail or golf.

The current owners have worked hard to ensure that there is plenty to entertain on site too. These include a woodland nature walk with stream, Gorslwyd's "Secret Garden", the tranquil meditation garden, a peaceful sanctuary, a summerhouse for the adults to relax with (next door) a playroom for the little ones. A playing field for those wanting to let off steam and a securely fenced paddock in which to exercise dogs.

There are also two paddocks for livestock. Our vendors currently use for alpacas and geese but could equally be used as a pony paddock as there is adequate fencing and a field shelter.

Other Buildings On Site

As well as the holiday cottages, this property benefits from other buidlings including:

The Gong Room - A building featuring a large communal room, a kitchenette and fully equipt wet room. The so-called "Gong Room" is a large communal space. There is also a variety of other working buildings, places for storing equipment, animal shelters etc and a PV system on one of the Cottages.
