The Hall Management Committee has now secured grants from various sources totalling £47,000, to finance the replacement of the existing hall floor. There are grants from the Community Facilities and Activities Programme (£40,600); the Welsh Church Act Fund (£3,000); and the Oakdale Trust (£500).
The work is estimated to cost in the region of £52,000, and the committee has pledged £5,000 from its own funds, to make up the total cost.
This £5,000 is raised by way of the Clwb 200 Club, which has always been generously supported by local people. In order that we may continue to raise funds essential for the upkeep of the hall and maintain the present high standard afforded to the community, more support is needed for the Clwb 200 Club.
The subscriptions for the coming year are now due - £8 per number. Your support would be very much appreciated.
