There was barely room for all the people attending St.Dogmaels green Easter fair.

A broad range of ages went to make the event successful: Ysgol LLandudoch pupils cat walked their astonishing creations made from fabrics donated by Trysor, the scrapstore. Two young local mums had written a comic act for the event and delighted with their theme of Pontypool disco dancers dedicating their lives to saving the planet, while the evening feasters were served Moroccan style dinner cooked by Cerys who recently moved to St. Dogmaels from Crosswell. Between courses the village belly dance class whetted the diners appetites with a crescendo of dances.

There were regular tours of the sailing gaff Kewaydin during the day, and boyish energy was catered for by the noisy tin-can knock-em-down stall, staffed by children.

Sue Hutchinson and the Transition group in St. Dogmaels organised the day, Sue says 'The important thing is to show how much better life can be with an active low carbon lifestyle. Saving the planet is a pleasure'.
