Newport travelled to Fairwood park golf club to play the for spring outing cup.In fairly squally conditions there were some good scores none better than James Price who won with 36 pts ,2nd eventually was Mike Cullen with 35 pts ,3d was Anthony Sinnot with 32,4th with 31 pts Herbie Rowley.
Longest drive went to James Price who also won the nearest the pin.There were three 2s Peter Griffith Anthony Sinnot and James Price
