Newport Links . Played on Sunday the 22nd February.
There was a good turn out in support of the junior section ,with good conditions overhead and with coarse in good conditions there were some good scoring. Firstly we have to thank Cardigan Tile and Bathroom company for their very generous sponsorship of this event.
The winners were ,in First place with a very good score of 40 pts was one of the senior stalwarts Roy Bishop,second with 35 pts David Owen,3d a regular in the prizes also with 35 Anthony Sinnott,4th Gerry Carroll,5th Roger Howell,6th Peter Griffith,&th Tony Bailey,8thTony Davies,9th Mark Cockayne,10th Sion Penfold. There was a 2s comp and there were four winners,Roy Bishop Peter Griffith,Mark Cockayne and Roger Howell.
