The organisers of the Gwyl expressed thanks to the many people, young and old, who had offered help. Provisional plans are already in place to hold the Gwyl again next year. In principle the committee offered some financial support to the Eisteddford yr Urdd, either as a direct donation or by organising a fund-raising event. Jess Brooks, from Bodwenog, had been offered a place to study for the International Baccalaureate in Atlantic College and the committee decided to offer a sum in support, payable in two lots, one at the beginning of each of the two academic years. Jess was congratulated on her achievement and dedication.
