This took place in the Caban on 23rd April and Sebastian Boyeson gave an illustrated talk about his work on the statue of St; Carannog, in the context of his commissions over the last ten years. The talk was enlightening and humorous as a captive audience was shown pictures of the work commissioned from this famous local sculptor, and it became clear why there had been the long delay for the millennium statue to be completed. The research work undertaken on St.Carannog had proved difficult and not very enlightening, but the statue is now under way and the village will be kept informed and have the opportunity to see the progress of the statue.
