A food box for unwanted non-perishable items is being trialled over the two Bank Holiday weekends in May. The aim of the box is to allow holiday makers who don’t wish to take non-perishable items home with them to donate their food to a good cause. The items will be collected and taken to Kinora in Cardigan, the charity which supports people with mental health difficulties, and where a meal is cooked six days a week. The box can be located at the front of Pinewood, opposite Bancyfelin vestry and is being looked after by members of St. Carannog’s Church. Queries to Anne or Martin Greig, 654257.
