RUGBY - Tomorrow (Wednesday) the 'First' XV travel to play Narberth RFC in a friendly match with k.o. at 7.15. No games will be played locally next Saturday - International match at Cardiff between Wales and Argentina k.o at 2.30.

HOLY TRINITY - Tomorrow (Wednesday) 10 am Holy Communion; 7 pm Choir Practice in the Church; 7.30 pm "Friends" meet in the Hall. Next Saturday, 10 am to 12 noon Coffee Morning in the Hall. Sunday (22nd) 10.30 am Holy Communion (Bilingual) WINE TASTING - A 'Wine Tasting Evening' will be held at the Church Community Hall on Friday (20th) at (please note) 7 pm - the event will be officially opened by Town Mayor, Coun. Peter Lewis. All proceeds will go towards the Town and Adpar Senior Citizens Christmas Fund.

COUNCIL MEETING - The Town Council's monthly meeting will take place at The Day Centre this Thursday (19th) at 7.30 pm - a warm welcome is extended to all interested parties.

SOCCER - Next Saturday, the 'First' side entertain Maesteg Park AFC at Parc Emlyn in a Division 2 match with kick off at (please note) 2 pm - this game is being kindly sponsored by "Newcastle Emlyn Old Boys". The 'Second' team is without a fixture while the 'Thirds' play away to Aberporth AFC in the 2nd round of the League Cup - again with kick off at 2 pm.

CHILDREN IN NEED - The annual Children in Need event takes place at The Pelican Inn in town next Friday (20th) when 'Dai Prop' and Daryl Pugh have kindly agreed to be WAXED at 7 pm promptly - this will be followed by an Auction at 8 - 8.30 pm - please support this worthy cause.

BAZAAR - The Catholic Church Hall will be the venue of the Christmas Bazaar next Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm when a variety of produce, including toiletries, cheese stand and much more will be on offer. Refreshments will be served all day.
