HAWKES Joan Peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 15, 2020, Joan Elizabeth Mary Hawkes, Croes-y-Forwyn, Eglwyswrw aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon, much loved mother of Jenny, Robin, Alice and Tim, proud 'Granny' of Julie, John, Jimmy and Gregory, cherished great-grandmother of Alex and Felipe. A celebration of her life will take place at St. Llawddog Church, Cilgerran on Wednesday, October 21 at 12.00 noon. She will be laid to rest at St. Illtyd Churchyard, Llantood at 12.45pm. Family flowers only, but donations, if desired, to Pembrokeshire Crossroads c/o Mrs Lowri Evans of Colin Phillips and Daughters Funeral Directors, 4 Morgan Street, Cardigan Tel: 01239 621192.
