CHRIS GRIFFITHS (of Newnham and previously of Lydney and Cardigan) Greatly loved family man and friend, inspirational and highly respected teacher. Died suddenly and without suffering, aged 59 years, on April 30th, in Cheltenham Oncology Unit where he was being monitored for the side-effects of his treatment. His larger-than-life personality will be forever missed by all fortunate enough to know him. Funeral Service Friday 31st May, 2.00 pm at St. Peter's Church, Newnham, prior to Private Cremation. Strictly family flowers only, donations in lieu for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity, Gloucestershire CT Scanner Appeal may be made payable to Philip Blatchly & Son Donations Account and sent to Regents Court, Regent Street, Lydney, Glos.
