Winner of MOJO 2007 Folk Album of the Year Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan Thursday 16th October Lisa Knapp, winner of last year’s MOJO Folk album of the year, comes to Cardigan on Thursday 16th October when she plays a rare gig at Theatr Mwldan. This mesmerizing singer merges a radiant style of traditional music with self-penned sings and sonic delights from the technological age. Her fans range from readers of national folk magazine fRoots to Radio 1 DJs. She is the woman to unite both traditionalist and 'nu-folk' scenes.

Mappa Mundi’s Canterbury Tales

At Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th October at 7.30pm and then on tour nationwide Mappa Mundi bring their dramatic and comical stage adaptation of medieval literature’s great epic, Canterbury Tales to Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th October, promising a light hearted, joyous and slightly naughty theatrical outing! The production has been revised and updated since it was last performed in Cardigan to two packed houses two and a half years ago, before a smash hit tour of Wales totaling over 3,800 admissions. But it’s still just as entertaining, cheeky and affectionate an interpretation of Chaucer’s text as you are likely to come by, filling the stage with their unique brand of boisterous comedy, romance, fetching images and heaps of wit and charm.
