Between 31 May and 5 June 2010, the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron estate, near Aberaeron will be transformed to host Eisteddfod yr Urdd, Wales’ cultural youth festival. Up to 100,000 visitors and 15,000 competitors will be part of this spectacular event which also has a huge TV audience. With the best of Wales’ youngsters participating in song, recitation, drama, dance, composing, poetry, art, design and technology competitions, and much, much more, the beautiful estate of Llanerchaeron will be a hive of activity throughout this half term week.

Welcome to Llanerchaeron The 2010 Urdd National Eisteddfod will be held on the beautiful Llanerchaeron Estate, designed and built in the 1790s by John Nash. This rare
example of a self-sufficient 18th-century Welsh minor gentry estate has survived virtually unaltered and will provide a dramatic backdrop to the festival. With a working, organic farm and wonderful
