Pencader of Division Two took the plaudits after dumping First Division Cardigan Town out of the Bay Cup at Pencader Park.
The Magpies were dealt a blow beforehand when Ben Davies and Gary Lawrence failed to turn up and goalkeeper Steve Smith was a virtual passenger for much of the game after suffering a knee injury.
But that cannot detract from a great performance by the Carmarthenshire villagers who ran out 7-3 winners.

Afterwards delighted Reds manager Carl Atkinson said: "The attitude of the youngsters I have here is brilliant. They don't miss a training session and they got what they deserved today."
As well as being on course to win the championship Pencader are in the final of the South Cards Cup where they take on Llanboidy at Ffostrasol this Saturday.
The Cardis were good on the ball but Pencader defended brilliantly and were dangerous on the break through Adrian Hazzelby. The 19-year-old striker led the Town defence a merry dance as he netted four of the goals to take his tally for the season to 48.
Striker Daniel Jones and midfielders Lee Bond and Mark Langley were the other home marksmen while Seamus Doherty (penalty), Grant Williams and Scott Freeman got the Cardigan goals.
Crannog also reached the next stage after a 3-1 win against Dewi Stars at the Urdd Centre. Chris Welch put the coastal villagers ahead early on, but Andrew Jones squared matters for Stars before the interval.
A Richard Jones header and a goal by dangerous raider Jordan Jones killed off the Stars challenge.
