The North Pembrokeshire Silver Valley run will be held on Sunday the 5th of July.
Both the main run and the fun will commence from the Hermon School Playing field at 11.00am and will predominantly be off road runs.
The 10km run will run through secluded farm lanes and follow the old Railway line to Glogue Quarry, running through the quarry will bring competitors out at Llwynyrhwrdd Chapel and then down to Llanfyrnach. Once pass the remains of the old Silver Mines and pass Mansel Davies Haulage Company the run will return to Hermon via Glogue Village.
The organizers have trophies for first male and female runners in the three categories for the main 10km race. The overall winner will also receive 2 Celtic Blue Rock Festival weekend - 3-day tickets worth £74. ( www.celticbluerock.org ).
There will also be an opportunity for secondary school children to run a special class in the fun run as well as under 11 year old and under seven year old races to be run at Playing field site.
