One of the most successful clubs on the local circuit over the past few seasons, Llandysul of the Costcutter League, are searching for a first team
manager after the departure of Chris Coco Davies who has joined Carmarthen Stars in the Carmarthenshire League Premier Division.
In an illustrious playing career, Davies appeared with various clubs in west Wales and represented the Pembrokeshire League in the same side as
ex-Wales and Aston Villa defender Mark Delaney who was then with Goodwick United.
The affable Davies spent three seasons in charge at Llandysul Park, leading the Swallows to their first Costcutter title in nearly 70 years, and
also lifting the prestigious J Emrys Morgan Cup, Bay Cup and Eddie Merry trophy.
At Carmarthen Stars he will be working with manager Kieran Davies and already the club has a strong squad of around 17 players with newcomers
Terry Maynard, Ian Barrett and Adrian Hazzelby.
As Llandysul strive to put a new man at the helm before the start of pre-season training next month a club spokesperson said: "Llandysul FC would
like to thank Coco for his efforts on our behalf and everyone connected with the club will join in extending good wishes to him for the future."
Anyone interested in the manager's job is asked to contact club secretary Emma Davies (07875 663 680).
