Ceredigion league champions Cardigan started the defence of their title in style with a 46-shot win over visitors New Quay on the Gwbert Road green.

Skipper Colin James and team-mates could face a stern test in their next outing on Wednesday, June 13, when hosting on-song Lampeter who beat

them in a recent Carruthers Shield game.
