The future of Newcastle Emlyn Football Club is in the very best of hands if the Costcutter League Youth Cup final is any guide after the Emlyn youngsters sprang a 3-0 win over Dewi Stars at Ffostrasol.
Serving up some attractive football, the Reds dominated for lengthy periods, led by two goals at the break and sauntered through the second half against opponents who fought tooth and nail but could not match the
all-round ability of the winners.
Central defender George Lowry with two powerful headers at free kicks put Emlyn in the ascendancy after the opening 45 minutes and Corrie Davies made it plain sailing during the second period.
